Puma Bluebird 2011

The Puma Bluebird, released in 1982 has been recently reissued. This trainer has been popular amongst Cardiff City Football Club supporters in the 80`s because "Bluebird" has always been the nickname of Cardiff City FC.

This trainer is known for its blue/yellow colourway, but has also been released in maroon/yellow, which reminds a bit of Cardiff`s away colours of the 70`s. When i saw the first pictures of them i said to myself: It`s time for my first pair of Pumas! I have never been a fan of Puma but this release is just great and when they arrived, they looked even better than on every picture i have seen before. The quality is very good in my opinion, the suede feels great and this trainers are very comfortable. But the only reason for me to buy them was this cracking colourway, which really stands out between other recent Adidas releases at the moment and with 60 GBP a really fair price.

Adidas Indoor Super

Nach langer Suche habe ich ihn endlich in meiner Größe und in einem super Zustand gefunden. Mein absoluter Lieblingstrainer. Der Indoor Super ist ein absoluter Kulttrainer der 80er Jahre, ursprünglich konzipiert für den typischen Hallensport, wie z.B. Squash, Volleyball oder auch Tischtennis. Die Sohle wurde extra für diesen Einsatzbereich konzipiert, aber auch auf der Strasse macht der Schuh eine gute Figur. Daher wurde, ähnlich wie der Forest Hills oder der Trimm Trab, dieser schlichte Trainer zu einem der beliebtesten Tretern der Casuals und wird heute, aufgrund seiner Exklusivität hoch gehandelt. 2004 brachte Adidas diesen Schuh erneut heraus, aber auch für die gelungene Reissue muss man manchmal etwas tiefer in die Tasche greifen, aber es hält sich zum Glück in Grenzen und lohnt sich auf alle Fälle, denn der Indoor Super ist ein perfekter Allrounder in jeder Lage.

Aquascutum is an all time favorite of mine, especially when it comes with such a cool check pattern. Couldn`t resist here, something else then the usual house check scarfs and shirts. The quality is second to none, as always.

Paul Smith cords in brown and dark navy (almost black), you can wear them all the year, not really thick and very comfortable and a welcome change to the usual denims in my wardrobe.

You can`t go wrong with a bit of Paul & Shark. Their Polos, Jumpers and Knits are lovely and pure quality, wich is of course reflecting in the price. But worth every penny.

Adidas Gazelle OG. The perfect summer trainer. Nothing is cooler than a pair of oldschool three stripes. A perfect reissue of an 80s classic.

Another P&S Polo made of very fine cotton. You can see and feel the quality of this garment which makes the difference to other labels. Very soft and light and perfect for the hot summer days.

Adidas London

New Balance 420

Just got myself two pairs of New Balance 420, probably the only range i really like from New Balance. I like the clean vintage look and the shape of the 420s and they are always a perfect addition to the collection. They come in lovely colourways as well.. roll on, spring/summer 2011!

New Balance 420

On my search for some new trainers, i stumbled over this nice pair of New Balance. I`ve to admit that NB hasn`t been on my radar yet, but some models are really growing on me now. It has always been Adidas for me so far, but NB has some really nice models on the trainer market. The 420 series is my favorite. The nice vintage running shoe look made me buying this blue pair of 420s and i am really happy with them,they are comfortable and come in  a very nice colourway! I think i will look more often for NB and of course the 420 series. They are a nice alternative to Adidas, they are relatively advantegeously priced and made in the UK and not in Asia.

Adidas München.

This is my latest purchase, a pair of 2003 reissued Adidas München. I really like the colourway, also the blue ones but i don`t think i like the latest green cloured reissues, wich are available at Size? in the UK. They came in a really mint condition, even with Tags. So let`s hope for some sunny days..

SL72.

This pair of Adidas just made their way to my home. It`s the SL72 from the Adidas Originals Collection in my favorite colour sheme. Looks very old school and i`am happy that i got them nearly brand new and for a bargain price from the german bay. I expected them to become a little more expensive, because Adidas loving chaps won`t miss such an opportunity! SL72s became my favorite model, i just love the shape and that old school flair and i think i will get a white pair too in the near future..

Just flown in.

Adidas Samba 2010 "World Cup"

Eigentlich bin ich kein großer Samba Fan aber diese Variante gefiel mir echt gut. Diese Farbcombo hat es mir auch schon beim SL72 und beim Kegler angetan.. In diesem Fall wird der Samba noch mit einem Button veredelt (hier: England). Es gibt auch noch andere Farbkombinationen wie z.B. für Spanien oder Brasilien.
